Foggy Southern Oregon Coast Family Session | Jessica Heron Images

Dusk was setting in and the fog was thick, just as it is on the Oregon Coast. We arrived to the rolling hills of beach grass and towering haystack rocks surrounding us. I knew from the moment I arrived that this was going to be a good session. I love how this family shows up in front of my lens. They’re so true to themselves, every time. In the beginning of this session we were reflecting on the sessions that I’ve done for the Mavris Family over the years. George said a quote that really struck me and reminded me why I love what I do so much. He told me the photos I’ve taken of their families over the years are like rings in a tree’s trunk. Always such a pleasure working with this sweet family. I’m so grateful that we get to come back together to capture the current season of life they’re in, time and time again.
