Locations in the

Pacific Northwest

Hurricane Ridge, WA

At an elevation of 5,242 feet, Hurricane Ridge is a year-round destination! It’s surrounded by the best views of the Olympic mountain range and beautiful grass valleys. It’s probably my favorite view in the Olympic National Park.

Oregon Sand Dunes. Just south of Florence, OR

These never ending rolling hills of sand dunes make for an epic view! Not far from the dunes you can find one of Oregon’s most beautiful beaches. I love the variety this location brings!

Diablo Lake, WA.

This beautifully colored lake surrounded by some of the most epic Cascade mountains is a view that will just never get old. You can hike to some great views or even just pull over lakeside right off the road and still get some jaw dropping backdrops!

Cape Kiwanda state park, Oregon Coast.

I’ve shot here many times and have yet to get enough! These dramatic sand structures make for the most beautiful backdrops for any type of photos. You can expect a little hike up to the Dune! But once you get up there…it’s SO worth the heavy breathing workout! And to top it all off, you can swing into the brewery right on the beach to grab a beer or dinner afterwards!

Deception Pass, WA

This epic location is a big waterway separating Whidbey Island from Fidalgo Island! The beach views and islands in the background make for a beautiful and peaceful location!

Crescent Lake, WA

Probably my second favorite Olympic National Park location! Crescent Lake is one of the most beautiful locations. The calm lake is surrounded by mountains and thick wooded forests make one peaceful location for your session. You should almost assume there will be some rain and just embrace it as it comes! It’s part of the environment and I like to think it adds to the shoot! Both time’s I’ve shot there we’ve gotten drenched!
